Estimating in Agile Pocketbook
This pocketbook describes how to estimate for agile projects. DSDM is chosen as the base approach as it provides a framework for a full project lifecycle, and so illustrates how estimating is done throughout the life of the project. DSDM shares the common agile values, and strongly influenced the development of the Agile Manifesto. Although based on DSDM, the information contained in this Estimating pocketbook can be applied to any of the other agile approaches such as Scrum.
Planning Poker Cards
Planning Poker helps the development team to improve estimation of relative size or effort required for different phases of a project by encouraging discussion and highlighting problem areas to ensure the most accurate estimate is reached each time. Each pack contains enough cards for four people and a set of instructions.
